FAQs

Where can I buy the Organic Choice range?

You can find the Organic Choice range at Coles, Woolworths and independent retailers across Australia. Please note that not all supermarket locations may have your desired product in stock, so we always recommend checking with the individual store before visiting!

Can I buy your products online?

At this stage we don't have our ranges available online on our website, however you can find selected products at Coles and Woolworths and sometimes on Catch.

I can’t find your products at my local supermarket.

Thank you for trying to support Organic Choice! Unfortunately some supermarkets don't stock our products, which is a decision that is made by the Buyers of the store. Some of our customers have had some luck when they speak to their local store manager and specifically request for our products. People power really works in these situations so we do encourage our customers to try! You can also contact us with your postcode and the product you are looking for, and our customer service team will do their best to locate your nearest stockist.

Where are your products made?

The Organic Choice range is proudly manufactured in Melbourne, Australia. Thank you for supporting Aussie made and owned products!

Do the products contain palm oil?

All of our products are completely palm oil free.

Do your products contain any nasties?

Absolutely not. Our products are made from naturally derived ingredients and are SLES & SLS free and free from petroleum.

Do these products contain certified organic essential oils?

Yes, the Organic Choice range contains certified organic essential oils, supporting organic farmers.

Are the Organic Choice candles made from pure soy?

Yes, the Organic Choice candles are made from 100% Pure Soy Wax.

Soy candles are made from soybeans, a natural, renewable source grown in many regions by local farmers which carries the essential oil aroma to truly experienced.

Paraffin candles are made from petroleum, which is a non-renewable source that contains carcinogenic substances.

A candle made from soy wax burns cleaner with little soot released as the candle burns.  Soy candles are also non-toxic, so they won’t release toxins into the air as they burn.  They have a slower burning time and cooler burning temperature.  Soy wax is also biodegradable.

Why do some of the candles in the range differ visually?

Our soy candles may differ slightly in the way they are filled as our range are poured by hand.  We take time in preparing and hand crafting our candles, they are not mass manufactured by machines.

How many hours will each candle burn for?

Each candle will be slightly different but on average each will burn for approx. 30 hours in total.

To get the most from your candle keep the wick trim, this will extend the burning time and prevent the candle from smoking.  For best results light the candle for a few hours and then put out the flame and trim the wick.  Do this every few hours when you first use the candle.

Can I spray the air freshener/linen spray directly onto fabrics and sheets?

Yes absolutely! This range has been developed to be used both as an air freshener and linen spray. You can spray over linen and fabrics but take care not to spray heavily directly on the material, rather spray a fine mist above the surface.

As always, test on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric first to test to ensure it does not leave a mark, as fabrics will vary.

Are your products natural?

Yes! Our entire product range is proudly made from naturally derived ingredients. All of our ingredients have been chosen for the minimal impact to the environment as well as human health. #proudlyplantpowered

Do you sell refills or in products in bulk?

We would be thrilled to be able to offer refill options to our customers. Unfortunately we cannot convince the large supermarket chains to stock any refill packs. You will see it's not only our brands, but many others, that also cannot get refills on shelf. This is due to consumer demand - which plays a huge factor in the supermarket's decision making - not enough of us buy refills to justify space on shelf apparently! We need to rely on our customers to put some pressure on these companies to start stocking refill packs so that the triggers and bottles can be used multiple times. In the mean time, you may be able to order some our products in a bulk pack directly from our customer service team. Please contact us for a quotation.

Are your products septic safe?

All of our products are septic and grey water safe. They are naturally derived and not harmful to the earth.

Are your products recyclable?

Our plastics are fully recyclable PET (1) and HDPE(2) which are both readily recyclable across all councils in Australia and this plastic is then re-used in making new bottles in the future, and we are continuing to use more recycled plastic content in our bottles. We don’t use micro fine plastics and all our packs can be re-used where applicable.

How long do your products last?

The shelf life of our cleaning products is around 2 years. Expired products will not be harmful, however, they may not be as effective as a new bottle.
